I’m coming undone,
From the stitches they fixed me with.
You need to understand,
The ease it came off with,

One tiny tug
and i was tumbling forth,
Leaving a mess
on the shiny tiled floor.

There was a bright light,
When I ripped at the seams,
Consuming everything in its wake
With its uncaring beams.

I morphed into a vacuous body,
I existed no more,
I opened my soul to the world
And it wouldn’t accept me raw.

I ripped my seams open,
I let go of all of my thoughts.
I learnt to embrace nothing
And nothing embraced my soul.
