Member of County Assembly Nelson Lotela was abducted on Sunday evening at around 5:30 p.m while on his way home.
Those who witnessed the incident say the MCA was removed from his car near River Nginyany and forced into a black Nevara KCA 212B that was being accompanied by a black land cruiser.

One of the cars blocked the politician’s way as three well built men came and forced him to alight his car. His face was then covered by a piece of clothe.
“Lotela and his driver had their faces covered with pieces of clothes, he was also slapped as he tried to resist,” an eye witness narrated to Standard Media Group journalists.
Baringo County Commissioner Henry Wafula confirmed the horrific abduction.
